I started a line of Dead Sea skin care products 3 years ago. Despite all my efforts our sales are still low. I have a informative web site, I’ve posted every where on the net, I have a brochure I’ve mailed and emailed everywhere, I lost tons of money sending samples out. I’ve tried to recruit direct sales people as well as commission only business to business reps and I got no where. Is this just a failure business or what? I am working on a very small budget at this point and can’t afford a national ad campaign should I just quit or what?

I’m 15 and all my life I’ve been using soap and I think I’m missing out so much on my skin care already! Please tell me about cleansers and moisterizers and and makeup remover, which ones you use, and which products can clean throughly and gently! I’m really grateful I don’t even know the basics!

I have used Chanel skin care products for 8 years. For years, it worked wonders. I still don’t have any visible lines. And I don’t want to get any lines. I heard from a friend of my mother’s that I should change my skincare regimen every season or every year. I am wondering if there’s any reputable brand (except for Dr. Brandt, Clarins and Clinique) that will help my skin shine, become luminous, and prevent wrinkles from appearing.

The skin on my face is often very dry on my nose and on my cheeks and red. I have moderate to little acne, but really not too bad. How can i solve these skin problems without getting too gay on the skin-care products? The reason why i’m asking is because I get very embarresed with the dry skin because I can see flakes on my nose and I just want to change it.

I am 22 years old and think that it is about time that I look for a good skin care line so that my skin looks good as I age. I have no clue what to look for so I was hoping that this can serve as a starting point in my search.
Thanks!

I have been looking for a good skin care line for African American women but I haven’t found any. I haven’t tried Clean & Clear or Clearasil because Im not sure if they are for women of my tone. My main problems with my skin is dryness and discoloration. I frequently have blemishes or pimples but having a good cleanser and moisturizer to fight against that would be good as well.
correction: I have occasional breakouts and my skin is also very sensitive. I’ve suffer from exzema as a child.

I don’t wear make up, and usually just wash my face and lotion. However, now that I’m getting older, I’d like to take better care of my facial complexion. What do all of you use for your daily skin care regime? Please provide step by step instructions. I’ve read that a cleaner, moisturizer, toner, etc are needed. Anything else? What order do you apply these things and what brand do you use? Thanks.

A lot of the teens on the skin care board are really using a lot of benzoyl peroxide. Should these products maybe state on the label or something that benzoyl peroxide is used to induce skin cancer in lab animals for skin cancer research?
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=pubmed&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=2507187&ordinalpos=1&itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVAbstractPlus
Department of Dermatology Skin Diseases Research Center, University Hospitals of Cleveland, OH.
It is known that the free-radical-generating compound, benzoyl peroxide (BPO) enhances malignant conversion of murine skin benign papillomas into carcinomas.
If there is such a difference between rodent and human skin, why are they using the rodents to test skin cancer drugs for humans? What, the results of the drug tests are okay and helpful for humans but how we get it is different?
FDA MedWatch…
Benzoyl peroxide has been shown to be a tumor promoter and progression agent in a
number of animal studies. The clinical significance of this is unknown.
Benzoyl peroxide in acetone at doses of 5 and 10 mg administered twice per week induced
skin tumors in transgenic Tg.AC mice in a study using 20 weeks of topical treatment.
In a 52 week dermal photocarcinogenicity study in hairless mice, the median time to onset
of skin tumor formation was decreased and the number of tumors per mouse
increased following chronic concurrent topical administration of BenzaClin Topical Gel
with exposure to ultraviolet radiation (40 weeks of treatment followed by 12 weeks of
observation).

If it is used to turn benign papillomas (like a pimple) to malignant papillomas in lab animals at ONLY 5-10% applied ONLY 2 times a week from ONE source, How can the chem manufacturer state that it doesn’t?

I am 34 years old and I am starting to notice small lines developing. So I want to start with an anti aging skin care product line or routine. Can someone tell me what they are using or what you recommend and your results.
